Took our car for transmission work on a Monday told pick it up on Wednesday.not ready on Wednesday.they don't know why light still on..by Friday they found out they had put in wrong part.called on Monday cars ready..took for a drive seems someone had punched out flap and stole the gas..and now the blower fan is making a loud noise..Darrel says not us we didn't do it..""sh-- happens"" he says..a rude and unprofessional attitude..went to pay and bill was almost 800.00 more than estimate..seems good ol' Darrel wants to charge for putting in wrong part..Really??..take your chances and your money someplace else.. more

Our car broke down on 75 and we were towed to McKee's. They were OUTSTANDING. They worked on our car all that day and part of the next. The alternator had gone bad and they put 2 in, but still didn't work. The owner then took everything apart, wires, fuses and all, and installed new alternator and it worked. Prices were VERY reasonable and we were very pleased. They even took us to a hotel for the night and picked us up the next morning. Thank you very much McKee's!!!! You are great!! more

dependable service 10/15/2008

We have been using McKee's for several years for everything from an oil change to a rebuilt transmission. Usually able to do same day service unless it is a major repair. Will drop you off or pick you up from work if needed. Saved me several thousand dollars after a dealership service center told me I needed a new transmission when my car was making a noise.I went for a second opinion. McKees tinkered with my car, found no problem other than possible debris making the noise, and didn't even charge me. They also have a towing service. Reasonable prices. more
