Used him twice. Big jobs, highest recommendation. 5/4/2011

. Paul and his crew took care of a very messy, very large job clearing and grading over a thousand feet of ravine to restore a natural water flow. They were fast, careful and deliberate, finished on bid and on schedule. Both me and the civil engineer were thrilled with the job, and gladly hired him again to do a slightly smaller but more complex job installing parallel buried culvert pipes. We doubled the size of the job mid-stream, and Paul's adjusted price was far more than fair, especially since we had no where else to go. Very honest, personable, and trustworthy. more

Excellent Foundation Work 5/1/2011

I cannot recommend Paul and his team enough!! The best praise I can say is i have used them for both my recent house purchases over the last several years and will use them again each time. Knowledgeable, courteous, reasonable, efficient, professional and most importantly when dealing with contractors ON TIME. They fulfilled their promises when/where/how they said they would. more

Outstanding Foundation and Drainage Work 4/30/2011

It's truly a thing of beauty to see Paul and his crew tackle a project. I first worked with Paul in 1999 on my Craftsman home in Los Feliz. After some thoughtful and creative (as in Paul pointed out ways we could save some money), Paul and his crew got down to business. I stood back in awe and watched them put one hundred hydrolic jacks under my house, and then elevate it, put in new posts and beams and marry it to a sister foundation, and then bolt the house and add sheer walls. They did this with an efficiency that I have rarely, if ever, seen since. Besides that, Paul and his staff are very pleasant, and fair. That's why we continue to work with them whenever we have a need, and I always refer friends to Paul. more

I had a very difficult drainage and reconstruction project, in terms of scope and accessibility, with the potential of work downtime at risk. McGrath undertook the project with tremendous care and perseverance, came in at budget even though the project had unforeseen challenges, and was always available when I had questions or concerns. His teem was great - professional and courteous - and the system as a whole worked like a charm. It's the 1st time I've ever been completely satisfied with, and felt confident about a contractor. Bottom line is he's the man. more
