I've had my share of crappy dealerships, but McGrath is a breathe fresh air in an industry full of stinkers. Let's start by pricing, their sales were flexible and willing to work with me - yes, there's still going to be haggling but I found my experience less akin to dental work than other dealers. They helped me special order my car off the manufacture line due to my unique combination of options. Service takes things to another level. Here's a list of the things I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE (and yes, I'm screaming from the mountain top): - AMAZING service staff: fast, friendly, courteous, on time, and most of all HELPFUL - the most fun anyone can have at a dealership: PC's for you to surf the Internet with, putt golf, and satellite TV - a nice grind'n'brew Starbucks coffee machine - one of the largest fleet of loaner vehicles around (non-rental, they actually own these) equipped with I-Pass for your convenience - a free drive-through car wash Bar-none, the best dealership ever! I'm a repeat customer for sure. more

My wife and I bought both of ours cars from Dean Wareh, after he responded to my initial request for a quote on the TSX, from one of the internet car-buying services. The TSX purchase went so smashingly well, that we decided to repeat the scenario by buying a TL too, about three weeks later! Dean was a tremendous advocate for us, making sure that we got the very best deal possible. Both purchases were arranged over the telephone, with no paperwork or money from us involved until the purchase date. Everything that he promised was there and ready to go upon our arrival. He even picked us up at the train station, when we decided to not drive our car to pick up the TL. The entire McGrath staff is superb. The inventory is large and the dealership is customer oriented. I am enjoying my Acura w/ navi for about a year now from this dealership. The purchase time wasn't that bad. I've had worse. I was in and out of the dealership with my car in about 2 hours including financing and prepping the car for wash, etc. The service here is good and nice to get my car cleaned and ask a few questions from the service people. Nice lounge area to chill and wait for the car. more

I bought my Acura at another dealer, but I come here for the service. Edward H. sums it up very well. I drive about 25 minutes out of my way for any service I need done on my car.And if you're curious what drives someone (a-ha, I'm so clever) to write a review of a car dealer... I'm sitting at one of the internet terminals at the dealer. Right now. I'm such a nerd, and the service here is such a welcome change from other experiences I've suffered. more

Cathy is straightforward about what my car needs, explains things, gives estimates, and is most kind about timeframes. Also, she makes me feel that she knows me every time I call (which isn't very often). I have the impression that she knows just as much -- but probably more! -- as the mechanics that do the physical work on the car. more

Well taken care of!: We went in unannounced, no warning after speaking with a Jerry Jack last month. With kids in tow, we drove up, was immediately approached by a salesman that was friendly & polite, turned out to be Jerry. After a lil haggling walked out with a 2003 TL S with only 6500 miles! They took care of us, the kind of treatment GM needs to learn, kids got hats, wife got a gift & I left feeling like a king, go see Jerry Jack. more

The service department is great and the service writers do a great job in never trying to over-sell maintenance items. They are not the cheapest choice you can make, but I always find them reliable. more

I just spent 6 months analyzing all types of SUV's. I considered heavily Consumers Report valuations, personal test drives, apples to apples comparisons of options, fit & finish, professionalism of sales staff and bottome line "Bang for Buck"...After narrowing my choices to Lexus, Honda and Acura, I selected the Acura MDX. My next step was to visit the four dealerships closest to my home. I drove and priced vehicles at Arlington Acura..Mueller's Acura...Libertyville Acura and Mc Grath Acura. Without a doubt, the best dealership to do business with was McGrath. Very competitive...if not the best...pricing. Extremely professional sales staff.
