McDuffee Tire Service

McDuffee's really helped us in purchasing our new vehicle! We brought them three different cars (at different times during our search) we were thinking about purchasing and they gave us an honest opinion about that the cars had gone through and what problems we might encounter if we purchased them. They not only gave us their honest feedback, but also gave us tips about what to look out for as we were looking. When we finally found a reliable vehicle, and had the "McDuffee stamp of approval," they even encouraged us to consider having the timing belt replaced (based on the age of the car, and if the seller couldn't provide an idea of the last time it was replace). They even provided a quote for the cost, so we could take it into consideration if we were to buy, and for us to take to the seller to help negotiate a better price for the vehicle. McDuffee's service has been excellent! They have a shop full of honest employees, who really care about their customers. They have provided excellent and timely service to us on every occasion! Not being mechanically minded ourselves, we have taken our vehicles to them on several occasions about things we weren't sure were normal. They have always inspected our concerns and even fixed little things for free! I highly recommend McDuffee's! If they can fix it, we won't be taking our car anywhere else! They are the rare shop that really is there to serve their customers and not just line their wallets. If something really doesn’t need to be done or isn’t an issue, they tell you, so you’re not spending more than necessary fixing problems that don’t exist. more

Spent $750 on exhaust system repair. Still sounded very loud when I picked it up. Was told this was normal. Took it to the dealer who said there was a gap in the system and that repair was not done correctly. Also couple of years ago they put the wrong size tires on my car. You would think a tire store would get that right. Gave them a second chance after that but no more. more

McDuffee is one of the most honorable auto repair places in town. Not having much knowledge of how my car works, they did not take advantage of this fact and did not do work that was unnecessary. I appreciate that they give me the things that may need to be done in the future but don't push me to have work done that can be left to do at a later time. Great folks work there. I recommend them to everyone I know. more

My entire family has patronized McDuffee Tire for several years now. The service cannot be beat and the care for our vehicles has been top-notch. I think what takes the cake is how fair the service/labor fees are compared to many other garages we've used in the past. I have to also say that Doug and his team give 110% in terms of customer service. We wouldn't take our vehicles anywhere else, not even for an oil change! more

We take all our companies Cars & Trucks there for service. They get ti know by Name. Some of the nicest peope Ive ever done busiess with. more

We(the business I work for) have used Mcduffie Tire for over 8 years. Very pleased with their service and products. I have taken an older Mercedes to them for alignment and they always go the extra mile. They will tell you if anything is wrong with your car. Some shops will align your car even if the front components are worn. I recommend Mcduffie to all my friends. I have yet to have a bad experience. more

Back in the late 70's I drove a 74 Mark-IV about 60K+ miles a year. I used Gary (Gary McDuffee) for everything which was about every 2-4 weeks with my extensive driving. Been going there for everything ever since. McDuffee Tire with the same owner has been a Goodyear tire dealer for at least 30 years that I'm personally aware of. more

Good: They do just about everything possible to a car that doesn't require pulling the engine out!. Bad: I moved away for 10 years. When I returned, they had moved from their original 100 Oaks location.. Improvements: A stop light at their corner of Thompson Lane....lol. more

While on an inservice in the Nashville area I reached my car only to realize I had a flat. Well I don't know the first thing about changing tires. Someone at the parking lot I was in gave me the name and number of this repair shop. I called and they saved my day. Came to me and repaired the tire in a very timely manner. Will forever be grateful for their service. more

My husband took our car (it's an old one, a 1986 Chevrolet Cavalier) in to an Antioch major chain place for an oil change. They showed him an oil leak trailing through the engine, and quoted $500-plus for the repair. We have a tight budget; in desparation, he took the car to McDuffee for a second opinion. (Our friend recommended the shop; the owner goes to church with her.) The serviceman at McDuffee told him there was no leak. They didn't charge anything for their time, either. They saved us $500 and restored my faith in car repair companies. more
