Our local hospital has given a twist on eating. It will sound strange since they have been in the headlines for lack of compliance in cutting out trans fats, but Timken Medical Center has a McDonald's on the first floor.
They also have a cafeteria, but it is far less expensive to eat at McDonald's. Since it is usually early in the morning when we hit them up, I suggest the muffins instead of ordering a larger breakfast. The lines are long, and time consuming. The order takers seem always to be in a bad mood.
I guess I can understand since it is a major hospital and each shift comes in of thousands of employees that work there and at least 10% will stop in McDonald's. It is clean, fairly fast, reasonable pricing, and convenient.
The store itself is clean, clutter free, and wheelchair accessible. They do a great deal of business daily.
