On May 18' 2011 at 18:06 pm (That's 6:06 pm to you non Military time telling folks!!), my wife, six children and myself pulled into the drive thru at McDonald's located at 262 Grider St., at the corner of E. Delavan. We ordered our food at 18:09pm (6:09pm), and after 8-10 minutes in line, did not receive as much as an apology, let alone any food. So I blew my horn, and the "girl" at the window moseyed up to it and said "huh??" So I aksed, "where's my food?". She walked around to ask another young lady, and she looked at me and walked away. 30 seconds later the first"girl" came back with 1 medium Orange drink, and one large Iced Tea and said "Thank you have a good day".... My wife inturrupted and told her..."we have more food!!" "4 Cheeseburgers, 2 McNuggets, seven orders of fries and a Fish Filet!!". The "girl" put that look on her face again, and walked away!! I Knocked on the Glass 5 minutes after she did not return, and the crew chief came over. I explained that I was on my way to my graduation, it started at 7:00pm, I was supposed to be there at 6:00pm and that they were holding me up. The crew chief proceeded to tell us that (she) "I was not scheduled today, but the mngr messed up the scheduling". I told her, "I understand that, but they did not mess up taking my money" in the process. 30 minutes after arriving, at 18:36pm (6:36pm), we finally got our luke warm food, without a thank you, apology, or ketchup!! There is No Way that my "fast" food should have taken that long. I felt really Disrespected and I am tired of it!!!! I understand that there are not very many restaurants, or places of business in general in my part of the city, but with a combined six figure income between my wife and myself, I think we deserve more respect!!!! In other words, "Get your S@#T together McDonalds on Grider, and stop taking people for granted!!!!
