I contacted this company becasue I had a clogged drain as well as a heating and Air problem. They were to come out between 2 and 4 for the plumming...but instead called at 8-9 an...

I had a new heating and air conditioning unit installed here by McDonald. It was an excellent installation. All the workers were great, and they were all easy to work with. We had a new tankless water heater put in at my in-laws' house and that went really well too. It was a great experience. more

Dependable and trustworthy! 12/21/2011

I've been dealing with McDonald Plumbing Heating & Air, Inc. for 10+ years. They've done some major heating and air work and some minor work. I've always found their service to be very very good. They show up and if they don't, they communicate prior with a phone call. I really appreciate getting that kind of communication. I like the fact that they call when the technician is ready to come or is on their way. The office staff at McDonald Plumbing Heating & Air, Inc. was very helpful. I had only one major problem with them in 1998 with a particular employee but that was taken care of in a matter of hours. They're just a great company! McDonald Plumbing Heating & Air is very dependable and trustworthy! more

Professional and knowledgeable. 12/7/2011

It all started when I needed a new AC/Furnace. There are so many different firms, I wasn't sure who to use. I decided to call McDonald Plumbing Heating & Air, Inc. because the owner has been quoted in the Sacramento Bee many times in the Saturday section. I figured if he was good enough to give advice to all those people, he was good enough for me. Since then, I've had them do a number of things for me. My house is over 30 years old, so I needed quite a few things done. I had some leaks and plumbing issues, and needed a new water heater installed. Every time they came out, they were very professional, polite and hard-working. They've given me good recommendations on quality products. I have been very satisfied with them. And because they are a known source in Sacramento, I'm happy to recommend them. more

Superb service as evidenced by knowledge and skill of Dan Johnson 10/21/2011

I was having problems with a toilet which was 26 years old. Mr. Johnson discovered the problems with the plumbing, clearly explained what was needed, and he was both quick and efficient in removing the problem. I will continue to call upon McDonald Plumbing, Heating, and Air when in need of their services. more

Great Job! Wonderful Technician! 9/26/2011

Our water heater went out on a Saturday morning. We called McDonald Plumbing and was told that a Technician would be calling very soon. About fifteen minutes later Dan Johnson,the technician called. One half hour later he was at our home, assessed the situation, made his observations known to us and gave us a reasonable estimate. He then made his "parts run", was back in no time and installed a new water heater. He replaced a few parts that were worn out and worked diligently until the job was completed. He took the old water heater away and left the work area spotless. Dan was very personable, professional and easy to talk to. I will definitely call McDonald Plumbing in future in the need arises. They are a class act in all areas. Thank you Mcdonald Plumbing and especially Dan Johnson!!!! more

McDonald Plumbing did quite a bit. They gave me a new heating and air conditioning unit, a new furnace, and they made sure I got updated insulation. They also hooked me up with a plumber and an electrician. Basically, they were extremely helpful all the way around. more

McDonald Plumbing, Heating & Air did what they were supposed to do. They do maintenance service on the house for the heater, the furnace, and the air conditioner, and they serviced it all appropriately. They also installed a water heater for me, and they did a good job. more

I call McDonald Plumbing to come out and check the air conditioner, heater, or whatever needs to be done. They come out here in a couple of days, and always within the time frame they give. I am very pleased with the work that they do, and I am pleased that they guarantee it. more

We had a leaking toilet on the weekend and called McDonald. Came out on a Sunday and did an install of a new toilet first thing the next morning. Dan Johnson was the one who came and he did a fine job. We've had less-than-good experiences with other plumbers in East Sac working on our 1920s-era home, but I'm happy to say that was not the case with McDonald. I'm completely satisfied with the work and will gladly recommend them to my neighbors. more

DAN JOHNSON WAS BEYOND WHAT I EXPECTED FROM A SERVICE TECHNICIAN. HE WAS THOROUGH IN SURMISING THE SITUATION, ANSWERING MY QUESTIONS AND GOING BEYOND JUST "DOING THE JOB". Very good! 5/2/2011

McDonald Plumbing is very good. There was a leak under the floor, and they moved all my water piping from under the floor to my attic space. They opened the sheetrock, took off the siding, and did everything well. They patched it all up and put it back together so well you can't see where they did it, so everything turned out well. My experience with McDonald has been good. I'm very picky about who I have to my house. I only like certain kinds of people. I have had such a good experience with Eduardo, the plumber. I would give him the key to my house and leave for two weeks, I trust him so much! Ben, the technician who does the heating and air is also very trustworthy and a great worker. I always ask for those two, because they're so wonderful! I've had a very good experience, and I would not think of anybody else coming in to my home. more

Overall very pleasant for an otherwise stressful and expensive purchase. 4/8/2011

The guys from McDonald were punctual, and they seemed very competent as well. Out initial meeting with the salesman was really good. He was nice, polite, informative, and overall he just seemed trustworthy and professional as well. When it came to the actual work, they were punctual, they finished on time, and with every part of the process they were pretty patient in answer my questions, and I had many, many question while they were working. They were really gracious about that. more

McDonald was very nice, very professional, and very helpful. They came at a reasonable time of the day, cleaned up after themselves, and I felt they were very responsible in the house. I think most people question people they don't know just being in their home, but the workers were very friendly and presentable. I really liked Shawn, he was a free heart, and I had no problems with any of them at all. I also thought the gal in the office was just really nice, and she was very helpful in setting up the appointment for us. I can't praise them highly enough, and I would gladly recommend them to anyone. more

Called McDonald during an AC emergency in 105+ degree heat. They sent someone out right away and were able to fix the problem quickly. The gentleman was very courteous and professional. Can't tell you how satisfied I was. Thank you for your fantastic service on such a hot day! more

We have had service with McDonald for probably 6 years and they have been top-notch! We also had a heating and air conditioning unit, a brand new system, installed two years ago this May. We had relatives from Southern California coming to visit who cannot handle our heat sometimes, and McDonald made an agreement to get the whole thing going and working before the relatives arrived, and they did it. more
