Bearden Healhcare Associates is a State of Tennessee Certified Pain Clinic. BHA has a staff of 2 MD's, 5 NP's/PA's, 2 Doctors of Chhiropractic and a Physical Therapist. The clinic requires background checks, pharmacy records, previous treatment records and drug screens. Their first visit is very thorough and will take 3-4 hours. I have been going there for quite some time. I have been treated very well. The checks they do are for the there own protection as well as yours. I know the first 2 blogs here have some knowledge, but not much. Xanax only comes in .25 .50 1.0 and 2 miligrams. The amount of meds you are talking abount in blog one are a stupip amount. I hope that was the list for the 7 years at the clinic. That much what kill 500 people in one month. They give you 8 hours to show up for pill counts. That is more than enough time. If you explained you were in the hospital and had your Dr call they would have worked with you. You both are simply drug addicts upset because you were cut off for not following the rules. These Drs have to run a tight ship because of people abusing the system. People who go there who have never ending pain should not have to suffer. My mother died a slow and painful death from cancer because of Drs who did not properly treat the pain. You are just mad because you can't access the meds anymore. Dr Mcneal is one of the best Drs I have ever seen, The eval I went through was over 4 hours of intence reviews of my history. Blame the Pharmacy not the clinic. more

My Dad was a patient there and they kicked him out because somebody else picked up his prescription at the pharmacy. He filed a police report and they caught the person who did it. They still kicked him out which was a good thing because they were killing him with all the medicine they presribed him heres a list 360 oxycontin 80mg, 180 oxycontin 60mg, 360 hydrocodone 10mg, 240 xanax 10 mg and neurontin. And they did this for 7 years. The thing that bothers me is that he was never offered treatment to ween him off this is very dangerous. I only wished they would have done this sooner because now we (his family) are dealing with a 76 year old addict. I hope nobody else has to deal with this and they close this doctors office down and take Dr. Franks license before he kills somebody if he hasn't already!!! more

Been a patient of Dr. J.'s for over 6 years. She takes so much time to discuss all concerns. I became disabled very young and had to stop my teaching career. So MANY doctors along the way. She is MILES above any I've encountered and tells you what you need to hear. She's no pushover! But the most competent physician who has made my life's function and quality incur a 75% improvement. DO WHAT SHE TELLS YOU TO DO! I thank God so much for using her to help me She is also careful to send you to the BEST referral, not just what shows up first in the phone book. She's a petite white haired lady, but don't let that fool ya. She's so competent. She and her husband are like Knoxville's greatest secret. But if you're not ready to do what you need to do to get better, like diet change, etc., don't waste her time. Too many ill who are willing to follow her instructions will be glad to take your spot. more

They are all very nice and take time with you!! I didnt have to wait long at all! As long as they are in your network its good but if not it is rather exspensive but it was worth it with the way they treat you. more
