Ken McKenna rips off your retainer... gladly accepts money - then you never hear from him again. He has an inexperienced admin handle most of his client interaction on his behalf. He cost me a sanction because of his lack of professionalism and understanding of court procedure. So I not only paid him a flat fee to handle a matter finalizing my divorce, his representation actually COST me. I filed a complaint with the Nevada Bar whereas we were assigned to mediation and thankfully he refunded a portion of my fee - but it doesn't come close to what it cost in sanction and assets lost. \r \r He has his friends, dates, and others who are not actual clients post fake positive reviews for him which are filtered (thank goodness Yelp recognizes this). I am hoping they will post my actual review of his performance or lack thereof in the Washoe County Family Courts knowing I have been a regular Yelp user for years.\r \r I recommend people GOOGLE His name . you'll see numerous postings about his tax fraud, state bar discipline, and how hes done people wrong. more

KEN MCKENNA RIPPED ME OFF! I went to arbitration regarding the fee dispute that I'd filed with the bar. Ken was only willing to refund $750 of the $2,500 fee. I settled just because I didn't want to drag it out any further. He had no time records with him to substantiate his position that he spent more time on the case than the $2,500 fee, so that was not a real surprise. Was nice to finally meet the man who ""spent so much time on my case"" that I never even met him in person. Just remember, you get what you pay for - or in some cases ... not. Wins The Cases Others Say Can't Be Won 12/11/2010

He wins the cases that others say can't be won! Simple as that. I finally found my freedom when I found a Nevada attorney who truly represents my best interests ahead of anything else. Before meeting Ken McKenna, I literally barely survived the nightmare of going through poor, lazy, mishandled representation from other lawyers in the past. Now, beyond a shadow of any doubt, after first hiring Ken McKenna a few years ago, I now know that I will never have to worry about my rights, interests, or my legal security ever being in danger again. I was told my case could never be won and I would have to take a terrible deal offered to me by the other side. Ken took my case anyway and not only WON, but got me my LIFE back!! Thank you Ken!!
