SALES 1/6/2011

My Experience at McDonald was great due to the fact I was not sure what I wanted, I started off with a Base Terrain than a Pre Owned cadillac srx, Than I wonder off to other dealership because of other people telling me that I can get a better deal. I was so confused but Ben Taylor was so through and make sure I get what I really want in the purchase of the 2011 Terrain Cyber Gray I was very impress when he found what I really wanted. He went over and beyond the duty. I will send everybody I know and make contact with about my experience with him and McDonald Cadillac GMC and they have a wonderful sale staff. more

Art Neil, Salesperson 11/20/2010

This is the second car we have purchased through Art. Art is a great salesperson. He searched the area looking for the vehicle my wife wanted to purchase. I highly recommend that if anyone wants to buy a vehicle, they should go see Art Neil at McDonald. more

Purchased a new truck form the ever Entertaining Art Neil 11/19/2010

I have been looking around for the best deal on a new vehicle and best price for my trade. Art Neil was very patient with my indecisiveness. He took the time to show me everything I wanted to look at including several test drives....and he bought me a candy bar too! LOL It was a great pleasure dealing with Art Neil, he is very entertaining, kept the mood light and made the vehicle buying process fun. In addition, Shawn Kiley in the finance department was very nice and helpful and went the extra mile to get me the best deal. p.s. They also bought me lunch! more

Very straightforward 2/26/2009

It's been six months now, and my G6 is running great. Having shopped a couple other dealerships, McDonald was where I felt I got honest answers. Nice folks. Found the car I wanted on their website and they beat the price I had without showing it to them. That's good enough for me. more

A lesson learned 3/26/2007

I purchased a used vehicle from this dealership around May 2006. This was my first time dealing with a dealership and I must say that I will think thrice before again returning to one. I can say for sure that I will NEVER step foot on this dealership's grounds again. I could write a book about my negative experience, but I will sum it up this way in the interest of convenience. My expectations: -Being schmoozed by a pushy salesman; the stereotypical used car salesman -Spending more than I would pay if I were buying from an individual -Not a perfect, but reliable car (we were looking in the price range of $5000.00-$7000.00 so knew we couldn't get our hopes too high) What I got: -Financing at a decent percentage rate considering my poor credit (the ONLY positive thing that came out of this whole experience) -Being swindled by a pushy salesman; the stereotypical used car salesman; who in my opinion took advantage of a low-mid income, young, couple who were in a bind -A car that cost about $3000.00 more than I had wanted to spend AND has multiple issues that are costing us hundreds of dollars (I'd be ok w/ the price if we weren't having to put so much money into it repeatedly after the purchase) -A salesman (Bill Urbanski) that refused to return my phone calls when I called about my concerns after the sale was completed -A car that I could not drive for about 5 days during the 1st 2 weeks I had it due to problems -A salesman (Bill Urbanski) and a finance department that told me during negotiations that purchasing a warranty on the car was not an option, but then chided me for not buying one when I called with problems -False representation in that I was lead to believe that I was buying a Used car, when in actuality I bought an Economy Lot car (the car was listed on the Used Car section of the dealership's website NOT the Economy Lot section). Used cars go through thorough inspections while Economy cars are simply driven down the street enough to make sure that they are not so in need of repair that they could cause an accident or completely break down the first time the buyer drives it. I try to tell myself that this is similar to what could've happened had I bought the car from an individual. However, you just expect more from a dealership....at least I did. more
