We have paid the clients who had stairlifts on consignment. Eighteen months ago, we had an elevator project that we were waiting for payment go belly up. We we unable to receive payment. A month later we had a client who passed away during construction of a wheelchair lift. Again, we were unable to collect. These two incidents almost caused us to file for bankruptcy. It would have been easy to walk away but we didn't. We struggled to payback ThyssenKrupp, the manf. over the next twelve months but we finally paid them and then paid the people we owed for the stairlifts. Now our company is back and healthty again. We how have safeguards in place to protect us should another incident of non-payment arise. Dan Corcoran
