McAlister's Deli is one of my favorite places for a quick lunch. I love their sandwiches - my favorite is the turkey melt (I get it on a croissant instead of the hoagie roll), their potatoes (you can get them with anything from just butter and sour cream to loaded with turkey, ham, bacon, chili, etc). The soups are also delicious, as are their desserts. You definitely can't get lunch there without some of their delicious sweet iced tea! more

McAlister's in Huntsville 4/22/2006

I really liked the McAlister's in Tuscaloosa, so I was excited when they finally came to Huntsville. This location is very close to Research Park and Gate 9, so it is super, super crowded at lunchtime. Often so full it's hard to find parking. The second we wanted to go there for lunch but the parking lot was full, I kind of gave up on the place. They do offer dine in or carry out, but the wait for carry out is long and I recommend calling in your order if you already know what you want. more
