My Stylist- Melody and her assistant were the BEST!! Melody is a genuis with hair extensions and she knows her stuff. I highly recommend if anyone is thinking of getting hair extensions that they visit Mazary's. more

I went to this place for a color repair, and they were great. Mariam took the time to fix the ""horrible"" work of a so-called 'famous' Frisco based salon, that had messed up, BADLY, my hair. I couldn't be more impressed with the result and I do, STRONGLY, recommend this salon. more

I want to bring here my own review, based on what I saw and on what I got.... The staff is very professional and down to earth. They make you feel comfortable and in good hands. The owner, named Mariam, cut and colored my hair, and gave excellent tips on how to manage my hair, and keep them healthy. Just everyone know, I am a very picky person and will definitely go back! The only think I didn't love was that the salon chairs were a little bit close to each other... I would like a little more privacy than that, but for the service I got, it was worth every penny. more

After changing my natural hair color from auburn to blond at age 40, I came to Mariam asking her to help get my hair healthy again. She was certain she could do that if I would diligently do what she asked me to do over time, as well as be patient with the process she was recommending. It was obvious she knew this could happen and I trusted that she knew how to do it, so I agreed to follow her instructions. Over time, we slowly lifted my natural color back, did a variety of conditioning treatments every 6-8 weeks, and within 2 years (a short 24 months) my hair began to look healthy again. It was now important to maintain that and continue to follow her advice, using the right treatments and products she recommended. I was aging as well, so it was even more important to follow her advice now, as my hair would naturally become dryer with age. Today, I am 51, and thanks to Mariam, I have healthy beautiful hair. more

Beware from Going here.\r \r I just recently had my worst Salon exp with Mariam (owner of this studio).I had Keratin treatment(by Coppola) on my curly hairs in October .A lady who burnt my forehead (very little portion but enough for a visible scar) during the treatmen,but in end my hairs were straight and I liked it.I After I washed my hairs ,the hairs were soft however they were only relaxed from front part but my back part hairs' still had bad waves and curls(which was not suppose to be ).\r I called Mariam next day and requested her to let me show my hairs .I went to parlor and she acknowledged the fact that back side hairs are still not relaxed .She gave me a excuse that this product is natural and she has no control over this .I did buy in that fact however she offered me a complementary service of getting a chemical treatment done. \r \r I went back to her,she did my treatment with Chemical relaxer and promised that since this is chemical it will work well with my hairs .But after my first wash I was surprised to see my hairs had more curls than before ,they were again frizzy .\r It just deteriorated the condition more rather helping me .I was really disappointed that after spending 450$ on my hairs ,its the same thing..I still have to use blow dryer and flat iron to manage my hairs and the worst part is I have started getting hair fall now which was not the case earlier.Also she had repeated several times during her chemical treatment that she is doing this service on me for free.As if she is doing a favor on me .I think she is not aware that her service didn't work that's why I have to come again..\r \r On top of it when I called Mazary hair studio ,receptionist told me Mariam is busy with client she can't talk to me right now.She said she will call you back soon.I really starting to getting pissed off ,but still I controlled my anger and very calmly explained my situation to receptionist .She was very polite enough to take my complain and pass it to Maraim.I got a call from Mariam ,next day (As she was not at all concerned) .I was was telling her my problem ,but I was surprised she was blaming my body for this disaster.\r She told me ,its because of hormonal change or some kind of chemistry .,I had my full body checkup in November itself( before heading for 2nd treatment) ,I have all the reports .They are normal .I told her the same thing ,then she came up with another excuse that probably chemicals don't work on my hairs .I informed her that I have had these treatment before ,twice and they worked extremely well.They also lasted for whole 1 year without any problem that means I had sufficient time for my third treatment (which is my Keratin treatment).but she was not ready to listen anything .we ended up having a heating conversation as she was just giving my all kind of excuses ,why her treatment didn't work but I had all the proofs to turn down her excuses.In end she told me to suggest another way as she is done with her conversation.\r \r After few days I called up again to check what's the option they have for me .As usual she didn't have time to talk to me ,receptionist told me Mariam is busy with client and cant come on phone ,She informed me that they cant do anything else .And asked me to write a formal email to discuss my complain as Mariam cant speak to me any more.\r This may be because parlor had singed contract (as they are already aware their service wont satisfy customers and they will come with complains) and they don't want any risk wrt money.\r \r Before coming to Salon I had read some good reviews about this parlor about their service ,but I guess they are all fake .This is the worst experience I have ever had with any parlor till now.\r It looks like either you dont't use right products or you cant analyse hairs and know what works better on which hair type.\r \r \r PLS HELP.... more

If you have all day to get your hair done and not on a schedule then this is the place for you. They work at one pace and it is slow. Then to top it off they charge more than necessary. Save money and time by going elsewhere. more

Based solely on the responses of management to people who have not had the best experiences at this place, I will not be going to Mazary to get waxing done. To the person responding to these complaints: Your ""tone"" is quite condescending and your word choice is poor, and not just grammatically. Please consider your words carefully. Word-of-mouth is your most powerful advertising agent...and I managed to find these just from searching on Google for a place to get a bikini wax. You're losing potential customers. more

Unfortunately, I had a bad expeirence at this hair studio. Because of all of the great reviews, I went here in early 2009 and was grateful they took me in as a last minute client. However, the service was horrible. The person who washed and cut my hair burned my scalp with extremely hot water and then did not provide me with a decent haircut. Besides the expensive cost, Mariam the owner doesn't listen to you! She does what she wants to. I had to go back a second time to have her tone down the brassiness. Her comment was to just add more hightlights. $25 more dollars to my already $200 for her awful uneven cut and color!\r \r more

Today was my birthday! I came in not knowing what I needed, but knew I needed a BIG change! My co-worker sent me there bc she got great extensions and I wanted some. The owner sat me down and explained all my options. I was sold just by her professionalism and kindness. Nevertheless...I walked out with my hair 16 inches longer and a new summer hair color! I live in London UK I visted my friend Fariba in Dallas 2 months ago. She looked so pretty with her new hair style that I just had to beg her to take me to her hair salon. She took me to Mazary Hair Studio where I had this amazing new hair cut and style. When I came back to England, all my friends wanted to know where I had this wonderful cut ? Mariam took the time away from her shop to fly from texas to Boston to take care of all the makeup and hairstyles for all my daughters wedding party. She is the best I have ever known and as a human being she is warm and friendly and just an all around good person. I will always follow Mariam around no matter what city or state she ends up in! Been following her for over 15 years now. I love this woman!! My daughter also flies in from Boston just to have Mariam do her hair.
