Ulnar Nerve Transposition & Anterior cervical discectomy 5/30/2007

Dr. Mayoza has treated me since 2001 for injuries I received in a car wreck. In late 2002 I had neck surgery and in 2005 I had the Ulnar Nerve Surgery. Dr. Mayoza has always been very honest about my treatment and has taken a very conservative approach. He has always explained all of my options and the risks involved. I followed his instructions accordingly after each surgery. I would definitely recommend Dr. Mayoza and he has always been very honest with me. He knows his business and he gets directly to the point and doesn't waste your time. He has always answered all of my questions - even if I didn't like the answers and it wasn't what I wanted to hear. He has a great sense of humor. more

Ligament Reconstruction 3/1/2007

In June, 1984, I tore all 4 knee ligaments at once playing soccer. Dr. Mayoza saw me as the attending physician at St. Francis. The chances of ever walking normally after this injury is less than 50%. He did such a good job that I have run in 7 Tulsa Runs and played soccer for another 15 years after sitting out 2 years and never had another problem with the knee. more

Dr. Mayoza is an Orthopedic Surgeon. He used to be with a group of orthopedic specialists in Tulsa, but he is now practicing on his own. This doctor is smart, but he is also egotistic, and belittles his staff in front of patients. He is not honest, and I would not advise people to go to him when there are so many other competent surgeons in town. more
