Mayes County Propane 1/6/2010

I moved to Lake Hudson from Irving, TX approx two years ago and was alittle upset to find out that I would not have natural gas service. I called Mayes County Propane during the time that my house was being built and requested that a tank be placed on my property. I was extermely pleased with the excellent service received then and have continued to get excellent service from my Rep (Jim Martin) . I would highly recommend this company for anyone who requires propane. Great Service and fair prices. JP more

Found a good company 1/30/2007

Out here in the country, natural gas is not an option. We heat with propane. I found Mayes County Propane several years ago when I moved here. I have been totally satisfied. I've got a big propane tank in the yard. You can check on how much propane is in there by a gage - kind of like the gas gage in your car. A few months ago I decided to check the quantity. I was about out, the weekend was coming, as was cold weather (I heat my house with propane). I contacted Mayes County Propane. They said they would be right out. They were. Yesterday I cashed my income tax refund check. I decided it would be a good investment to fill up the tank. I called to let the company know I would be out of the house until about eleven a.m. and asked if they could come out soon after. They showed up at 11:15 a.m. Propane cost $1.53 a gallon. I needed 300 gallons. The total cost to me was $465. It may last four to six months, depending on how cold it gets. Writing a check for that amount kind of hurt, but many of my friends and co-workers pay $100 - $200 a month or more for natural gas. I chatted with the propane truck driver. We were talking about the terrible ice storm we recently had. He mentioned that he and the other drivers worked from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. during that time to insure everybody had propane. Somehow that didn't surprise me. That is the type of business they are. If you need propane, this is a great company to deal with. http://mayescountypropane.com more
