My hubby and I try many new restaurants on a regular basis based upon reviews that we read. However, all the new little vietnamese places popping up all over town haven't taken our attention from May Cafe. Where else can you go where you are presented with a menu that lists 100's of items. My favorite thing to do is just order off the appetizer menu. The fried wontons, spring rolls, and egg rolls are amazing! I also love the won ton soup. My hubby is partial to the beef noodle soup, which comes in a HUGE bowl and is accompanied by a plate of fresh bean sprouts, jalapenos, lime, basil, and cilantro. He also loves the Vietnamese Sandwich. It's quite a bargain at $2.95. You can order it with pork, beef, or chicken which is a nice change to the normal ""pork"" variety. My other favorite menu selections are the Pepper Steak and the Combination Fried Rice. I've never had peppers that taste this sweet and fresh, and the sauce rocks. The fried rice is loaded with egg, bean sprouts, shrimp, chicken, pork and beef, along with other veggies. The fresh lemonade is perfectly tart, balanced with just the right amount of sugar. Honestly, I'd eat here everyday if I had the opportunity. If you haven't tried May Cafe, go check it out. You'll be happy you did!
Pros: Soooooooo many choices!
