the best comic shop in vegas 5/24/2011

i've been going to this place for years. it's definitely the friendliest comic shop in this town. jay always goes out of his way to make sure you're a happy camper. they have new comics ready to go when they open on wed morning, which is super convenient. plus they have lots of fun memorabilia and collectable stuff. plus they let me take my dog inside! and seriously, how could you not love jay? if you're looking for a comic shop/nerdy thing store in vegas, this is your spot! more

Great great place for comics 12/5/2009

It's a great place for all your comic book needs, the store is clean well organized and the staff is very friendly and love to talk about comics. They have a large selection of tradepaperbacks, graphic novels and action figures. I've been going for 2 months and its my # 1 for comics in Las Vegas. THE BEST comics in Vegas!!! 1/16/2009

Don't usually do this type of thing, but my wife said we HAD to write a review. We visited Las Vegas for a brief stay and of course, I had to scope out the local comic shops. I dragged my wife to shop after shop and she hated them all. ""Seen one, seen them all"" is her attitude about comic book stores. Me? I find myself here a lot, just hanging out and talking to the crew. They're all cool guys, and love what they do. It's a comic book lovers wet-dream. Pros: Large selection of comics, toys, statues, and graphic novels. Cons: Abosuletly none. more

Fantastic Comic Book Store 8/28/2008

This place not only has a great selection of comics...but also figurines, posters, stickers, graphic novels, etc. Not to mention the staff is friendly and knowledgable! Overall a great store and a fun experience! Pros: Good selection from a variety of products, friendly and knowledgable staff! Cons: No dancing girls in cages. more

Top Notch Comic Book Store in Las Vegas 8/27/2008

Maximum Comics is the BEST place to buy comics!!! They have a great selection of new comics, graphic novels, toys, Manga, etc. Their staff is friendly and so helpful. This is not your typical dark comic book store. The place is bright, clean and even smells good. The owner Jay seems to know all of his customers and he and the other staff are knowledgeable, friendly and more than willing to help you find what you're looking for. I am so glad I found this place. I've been buying my comics here for the past year and a half and I won't go anywhere else. Pros: Staff, selection, service are the best Cons: Location - not close to where I live but worth the drive more

Awesome Experience 4/5/2008

I was looking for a shoe store in the SW part of town and stumbled on to Maximum Comics. I am a huge DC fan and have a store that I have been loyal to for 15+ years. When I walked into this new comic store it was amazing how friendly the staff was--unlike the usual comic stores I have visited. The store is clean and organized and filled with cool items. Tons of comics, graphic novels, toys, posters and statues. I closed my reserve box at my old comic shop and am loyal to Maximum now. Thanks Jay and the guys for getting me re-energized about this fun hobby! Pros: great location, great selection. very clean and bright inside. more
