Over the last 3 years, we've had our 2006 Toyota Tundra, our 1996 Volvo wagon and our 1964 Ford F100 serviced at Maxi. Everything from new brakes, to a new radiator, to AC servici...

After picking my car up and driving home, the front end started vibrating violently. while troubleshooting the area that was work on, I found the charcoal canister located above...

So .... my car had a 'knocking' sound like I remember from using low-test fuel many years ago. It only happened when my car would need a little effort. heavy gas, nope...... cruise control ...nope ...but press the accelerator just a little .... well, I call it a knock. Took it in to be looked at, John takes a ride in the car with me and I reproduce the symptoms. He say "might be a belt" ... I think... BELT??? WHERE DO YOU GET ABELT FROM THAT??? I, of course, asked a little more professionally. Sure enough, a replaced serpentine belt later, all was right in the world (well, at least car) again... YEP, my "go to" guys are Maxi Muffler more

I wasn't happy with the job they did on my headlight restoration. They just couldn't get my lens clear. After 4 times, at their expense, my headlights are crystal clear! more

Honest Repairs 12/8/2015

Maxi Muffler & Brakes Auto Care II located on Beach Blvd. & Southside Blvd. has done honest work / repairs to a few of my vehicles. They might be a little more expensive on labor than others, but they are honest & the work is exceptional. Thank ALL at Maxi's, I now have a reliable running car. Many unforscene repairs to my car. 11/21/2015

I went in for 1 thing to fix. When doing that 1 thing they found another. That lead to another and another. So they did everything the could to find all the current problems with my car. They did all the work at a fair price. They gave me all the discounts they had going at this time. I am so pleased to have them for my car repairs. Thank You Maxi Auto. more

My husband and I have been going to maxi for years and we absolutely love it there., Craig usually works on our cars and our cars are very well taken care of. John is super sweet and always gives honest advice and we are never stirred wrong .Everyone else in that shop is very professional and treat you with respect I have never rain into anyone who was rude there's always friendly faces and smiles that's the Gods honest truth . I am the type of person who gives honor where it's due I definitely have to say hands down best place to go .?? more
