This is a wonderful room, with its high ceiling, paneled walls and intriguing artwork. The staff are friendly and very professional. The wine list is comprehensive and reasonably priced. And the food! My wife and I used to eat dinner at Maxfield's every other month but since the new menu was introduced, we may become weekly regulars. The choices are simple (fish, beef, lamb) and everything is of the highest quality, beautifully cooked. Each entree comes with two side dishes, chosen from an extensive list. Do not miss the lobster polenta or the citrus risotto! Put it all together and Maxfield's is one of the best dining experiences in the City.
