Under New Ownership..Thank God 8/26/2009

I went to the Max Muscle of Aliso Viejo recently and was overwhelmed with all their new product variety. I wanted to point out that they moved closer to the 24Hr Fitness and also have a new owner that owns most of the Max Muscle's in the O.C. They have tons of product in a smaller store and the guy I spoke to was a certified nutritionist and was extremely knowledgeable. The Max Muscle brand is a trusted brand that many sport professionals use from what I have been reading. more

Max Muscle - good location, sparse inventory 8/9/2006

This supplement store is right next to the Aliso Viejo 24-hour fitness, which is good. This store has a large variety of protein powder... and pretty much ONLY protein powder, which can be bad. They have a few bars, but not much in the pre-mixed protein drink product line. I think they were also selling work out clothes the last time I was there, which I considered a complete waste of space. Apparently they also offer some nutrition consulting services, but their expert wasn't available while I was there. more
