Mavis Discount Tires

I have been going to the Scarsdale location for Mavis for the last 6 yrs. I never had an issue and they were always good on their followups as far as letting me know what's wrong with my vehicle....but after my last visit, I have been rethinking about whether or not they were truthful about what was really wrong with my car. I had brought my car in for my usual oil change and to check something on my tires. My fiance went with me to drop the car off. When I had dropped it off, my car had special caps on the tire pressure valves. When I went back to pick up my car, I noticed that they had replaced my own caps with the ordinary black caps. I went back and spoke to the guy at the desk and he claimed there were no special caps on my vehicle when I dropped them off. LIAR! My fiance made a fuss so he finally popped his head into the shop and I heard someone say that the ones on my car now are the same ones that were previously there and another person say ""oh those pieces of JUNK??"" If they were JUNK, THEN THEY SHOULD'VE GIVEN THEM BACK TO ME OR LET ME KNOW BUT OBVIOUSLY, THE MECHANIC WANTED TO KEEP THEM FOR HIMSELF! They finally dug three of them back out after we waited for five minutes. We waited a few more minutes before they finally dug the last one back out. We noticed that one of the guys had them in his tool box. You know they're a bad business when they continue to employ liars. I didn't even get an apology of any sort...just a ""duh"" expression from them. Now I have to search for a new mechanic....thanks a lot Mavis! Keep up the horrible job and hopefully you'll lose more customers! more

HORRIBLE, DISHONEST, DAMAGE MY CAR, DID NOT SAY ANYTHING. ORIGINALLY WENT TO GET TIRES AND IN THE PROCESS ENDED UP HAVING MY CAR DEMAGE. WOULD HAVE FELT BETTER IF THEY HAD TOLD ME AND I WOULD HAVE UNDERSTOOD, KNOWING AT LEAST THAT THEY ARE HONEST PEOPLE, ALSO THEY BROKE THE TOP OFF THE THING YOU USE TO CHECK TO SEE I YOUR OIL IS DIRTY, AND THEY SAID IT WAS PREVIOUSLY BROKEN. Pros: GOOD PRICE Cons: DOUBLE CHECK, BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE, WILL NOT OWN UP TO THERE MISTAKE more
