Mavis Discount Tire

Manager is incompetent, he doesn't pay attention to anything you say and in turn gets the job done wrong. I asked for my tires rotated and of course he didn't write it on the ticket so I had to wait another hour for them to redo it. Workers work on their own time, you will be sitting in the disgusting waiting area for 4+ hours while they stuff their face with pizza on the other side of the glass. This store was absolutely a total waste of my time! I called on Wednesday to make sure my out-of-stock tires could be installed on Friday at 9am. Eddie, the manager assured me of that an d said to place the reservation online (even though it was scheduled for Saturday) and he's make sure they were there by Thursday. So I called on Thursday to make sure they were there and ready for Friday at 9am. Eddie tells me only 2 of the tires arrived and the other 2 will on Friday...at 3pm. Not good. I had a meeting to attend on Friday @ 3pm. So I tried to get it done at the Nanuet location. Nanuet wouldn't install the tires for me because it would take them 2 hours (time I didn't have to spare). So I found a BJs that would install and balance the tires for 1/2 the price Mavis charges (19.99 +11.99). Saturday morning I go to pick up the tires from the New Rochelle location to install @ BJ's in Nyack and told Eddie I wasn't having the installation or balancing done, I'll just pick up the tires. He wanted to charge me $19 per tire as a STOCKING FEE for tires he DIDN""T HAVE IN STOCK WHEN I NEEDED THEM. I told him I wasn't paying that, he adjusted the invoice and had the tires I wanted a day ago, placed in the back of the truck. FINALLY , I get to BJS for the installation and balanced (again..1/2 the price)...I get a call from Eddie...they GAVE ME THE WRONG TIRES. I then had to travel back to New Rochelle FROM NYACK! to pick up the correct tires. The same tires he wanted to charge me an $80 stocking fee for!! Needless to say, my ordeal with Mavis was a complete DISASTER, and I'm going to make sure every tire location online review forum has a posting of this exact same message. BJ's fee for installing and balance tires is included in the price of the tire. So why do you guys charge $30+ on TOP of the tire price. Also there shouldn't be a stocking fee if you DON""T HAVE THE TIRE IN STOCK!!! I'm glad this is over, and will never shop here again.
