I have been going to Keely for almost 2 years, she was reccomended to me by a close friend. She is both personable and professional and her work is top notch! I went to Keely Coleman at Maurice Salon and had a wonderful experience. I wanted more natural looking highlights, kinda like the girls in the Victorias Secret Catalog. ( If i can't look like them I at least want their hair, haha) So I explained to Keely what I wanted and she said the best technique would be Balayage highlights. It's a newer way to do highlights so your hair looks natural, kind of like when you were a kid and got to be in the sun all summer. So she did the highlights and I love them. My hair looks so healthy and natural, its exactly what i wanted. the best part is with these kind of hilights I only have to go in every 3 months, cause they grow out without looking really harsh. I have gotten so many compliments and would reccomend this to anyone. Keely is amazing, so sweet and she actually listened to what I wanted. Maurice gave me the Brazilian keratine relaxer last month and it has changed my life. My hair is shiny, smooth, and easy to maintain. I live in the city and was amazed that it remained straight after walking blocks in the fog! The process was easy and so relaxing in his sophisticated salon. I have been highlighting my hair forever and never had a problem until I went to a hi-end salon in walnut creek where the color ""specialist"" literally fried the crown of my hair off and turned it orange! Maurice was recommended by a friend. I can't begin to tell you how fantastic he was. He met with me and explained exactly what would need to be done. He was very honest and sincere as well as compassionate about my experience with the other salon. He blocked out most of his day just for me. His professionalism is unparalleled! I cannot believe how much better my hair looks and feels! Though I know I have a long road ahead, I know that I am with the absolute best! I highly recommend him to anyone more

My friend referred me to Maurice because I was complaining about my curly hair. She suggested I get the Japanese straightening and I did. I look so glamorous! It's amazing. From the moment you are greeted by Maurice at the door he makes you feel welcome and special - I thnk it is helped by his lovely French accent!. Then the magic starts. He truly is a great hairstylist. He took time to talk to me about my lifestyle, time schedule and then looked at all my features and advised me on the best cut and hair color for my face shape and coloring - he's the first person to notice the gold flecks in my eyes!....his cut and color were FANTASTIC. He also took the time to teach me how to dry and style my hair with the products and made me practice in front of him so I was doing it right! That has never happened to me. I also loved that even though he has an amazing Assistant in Kara, he took time to get to know me and did the drying, styling himself. I left feeling like a movie star!!!! I decided to try Maurice Salon de Coiffure after reading the reviews on Citysearch. I've tried other ""stylists"" in the past and walked away with butchered hair. Because of my prior experiences, I was nervous to say the least. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the results of my cut! Maurice really knows what he is doing. I highly recommend him and his assistant is very nice as well. There was no product sales pressure. I was simply educated on what products they were using and their purpose.
