I loved this place! Im not a smoothie person, but my boyfriend is, and he has fallen in love with the Black Lava Beach flavor. I like the coffee Chill. Its similar to Starbucks Frappuchino, but I think the Chill is more flavorful. We love the music playing when we walk in; it makes you feel like you are on vacation! Well, until you pull back out into 1960 traffic - ugh. The Tiki glasses are so cute! I can see this place becoming a regular stop on the weekends... keep up the good work! Pros: The ambience, and the coffee! YUM Cons: Kinda of a pain to get to, but worth it! more

Nice place to beat the heat 7/30/2006

I LOVE THIS PLACE. They have coffee and fruit smoothies that will make your tastebuds stand up and salute you. And if you have never been to Hawaii then having one of the fruit smoothies will make you want to go. I suggest that you go in a sip on one of their smoothies and look outside while you are doing it and LAUGH at the heat while your enjoying yourself in the comfortable surroundings of this place. They are a great group of people. Pros: I loved everything about the place more

Good Smoothies - Great decor 7/17/2006

Maui Wowi was not a name that I recognized until recently and when I had one during a conference at the convention center here in Houston I was hooked. Now they have a store front location on 1960 - it offers the same great smoothies as the stand in the convention center but it also has coffee and a larger variety of products. The atmosphere is really nice fun and the smoothie and coffee products are top notch. This is a great place for a well made and attracively priced fruit drink or coffee. more

This place is great! Hawaiin decor with tropical drinks! Smoothies are excellent and healthy too! I've also been back for coffee and it was the best. Highly recommend trying this place. more

AMAZING COFFEE 6/8/2006

This was one of the best places I've found to have a GOOD cup of coffee in a while. They even have a drive thru which I didn't see at first. I would definitely recommend trying this place! more
