My son is in the first grade at Pukalani Elementary School and he loves class field trips. They take a lot of field trips to the MACC and I think it's a great experience for the kids. They not only get to go to plays, but the also have creative movement and learn more about the arts. I don't remember having this kind of opportunity when I was younger and am grateful that my child can. These field trips are not only fun and exciting for the kids, but also very educational. more

Great performers 8/15/2005

The MACC has something for everyone throughout the year. Some events are lay back; others are not. I like the Film Festival that happens at the end of each year. From the attendance, so do others. I like the slack key concerts and Hawaiian music. The prices are affordable. I keep an eye out when I hear big name performers will be in Honolulu, since it's common for them to stopover on Maui and do a show here too. more

"The MACC" 8/7/2005

The annual film festival is outstanding, and has gotten national recognition for its offerings. You can pick up season tickets or just select single showings. Also, there is a good selection of top national and international performers throughout the year, as well as local performers including the popular Slack Key Guitar concerts. more
