Saturday evening we attended "Tent Meeting" at the Circle Theater. It was advertised as a comedy. On their website Circle Theater advertises it as: “A hilarious play about an illegitimate child, blind faith, a cover up, and the Messiah that will tickle your funny bone, stimulate your brain, and stir your emotions”
This play is none of those things, Word that apply to this play are: over acted, screeching and loud, boorish, disjointed and confusing. We paid $20 a ticket and left after the first act. If fact, it appears that after the first act the play had maybe one or two patrons left.
