I had my wedding dress shortened here, and they did a fabulous job! My mother and I both sew, so we were nervous to have someone else do the work. The dress was two layers. The outer layer was chiffon, which is very difficult to work with, and it came out beautiful. She did an excellent job! more

I recently paid $60 to have a dress altered here and they did a very poor job. They hemmed the dress and it was still so long that it dragged in the front. They also were supposed to take the dress in because it was too big and it was still too big when I got it back. The bust area was not taken in properly so I cannot even wear the dress because it doesn't cover me properly. My dress also had a cummerbund-style band around the waist which was sewn together on either side of the dress. They had to take it apart when they took the dress in, but they didn't even match it up when they sewed it back together. The sign says professional seamstress, but the work was anything but professional. As well, one of the women in the shop told my son to shut up because he was crying. I was very disgusted with the ""service"" this shop provided and would not recommend them to anyone. Please do not waste your money! more
