Matchbox fits it's namesake - it's tiny, but I've never been shy of a stool at the counter or a seat at the community table. There's also a great alley patio out back and feel free to grab a chair to read the newspaper out front in the sun. The coffee is organic and fair trade - and awesome! I love it, the Rabble Rouser is my favorite blend right now and the espresso is delicious. There are sandwiches from Black Cat and bakery from the Mayday Cafe in south and a couple of other places, I think. They just started composting with Eureka, which I think is awesome. Prices are totally reasonable, vegan and veggie friendly, juice boxes and cookies for kids, and they just might have a biscuit for your pooch (outside please)! The place is pretty small, so even though they have WiFi it might not be the best place to 'work from home'. I hate it when people talk on their cell phones in there, it's tiny and it's like you're right in everyone's business.
Pros: Fantastic Coffee, WiFi, COOPERATIVELY OWNED! Composters!
Cons: Pretty tiny, but in a good way.
