They make you sign a one year agreement which they refuse to let you out of, even if you are unhappy with their services. We have sent multiple emails which they are certainly responsive to, but not much changes. It is all about business and not the children, which is a shame. This is not the military, if you want to leave you should feel free to leave. They only care about money and it shows with their over crowded classes. I signed my niece up so she could gain confidence in herself, but being lost in the shuffle of the huge class and constantly being called the wrong name does not help build confidence in oneself. I feel they need to actually teach the students to perform perfectly because that is what we are paying them to do- teach. If I wanted my child to copy someone, I could throw some kicks in the air and have her mimic me. While the instructor is good and she has people helping her with the kids, the classes are sloppy, disorganized, and too big for them to ascertain that all the children are getting the attention they need in order to learn how to do the moves properly. They do not work with children in perfecting their form and hand out stripes or let them go to the next belt easily- as long as you pay the extra money to test to go to the next belt. On the bright side, the schedules are very flexible and everyone on staff is extremely nice- except when my 7 year old niece said she no longer wanted to do tae kwon do and they tried for 30 minutes to guilt the poor little girl into staying.
