Simply Divine - Italian food 1/14/2005

I'vve been to nearly every top 25 restaurant in Los Angeles as part of my rsponsibilities as a CEO of a company. Entertaining a client is extremely important.. By far Massimo in Rancho Mirage Ca, has been the ultimate experience in traditional Italian dining. The Lamb chops are succulent while the osso bucco simply melted away in your mouth. The pastas reminded me of my recent trip to Rome where everything is fresh and home made! A warm enviornment with locals coming back for more and more. I will be making a trip to Massimo's at least once per month from Los Angeles. It is truly a worthwhile dining experience. Authentic 8/19/2004

Authentic!!! I've been a full time resident in the desert for over a decade and Massimo has never been topped! It offers such a warm family feeling and the food is truly authentic...I should know, my family is from Italy. It's family owned and operated and I've never seen a new server. With food that good why would you leave!! Pros: authentic, great wines, value Cons: , no lunch, too from my house more
