Love It!!!! 9/1/2011

I know Scott had moved and am so glad he is back!! He was my greatest find!!! We have tried other studios before but no one comes close to him. When it comes to our children we have told him that he is the Pied Piper. He is a joy to work with, and never seems to get stressed no matter what is going on in front of the camera. I have an art background and love the fact that he prefers the natural light outdoors. Welcome back Scott we missed you. more

No way I'm going anyplace else! 10/29/2010

Scott has been photographing my kids since they have been newborns. We have moved twice around Chicagoland each time a little further away and it's always worth the effort. It's like having the best hair stylist that you would never stray from, or live to regret more

Don't trust him 10/23/2008

Scott Mason is a pathetic, lying theif. He has taken my kids' pictures for roughly six years (son 8, daughter 4) - we trusted him. This year, he took my daughter's four-year old picutres, took our check, and we only received half of what we ordered. He won't return phone calls, deliver pictures, nothing. He is nothing but a piece of garbage. You ask - ""why a check""? Did I mention we trusted him? He told us he was ""between studios"" and didn't have his credit card machine - we thought nothing of it. Pros: Nothing Cons: Scott is not trustworthy more

Very Impressed! 5/15/2008

I met Scott last year during a baby expo and loved his work. And even though I live in Oakbrook and it was a 45 minute drive I wanted to do something that my mom friends haven't done. We decided on a beach shoot. Scott told me that people would always assume that this type of portrait was taken in Florida and he was right. It was perfect. He got my kids as well as my husband into the best of moods. My kids talk about that day still and keep calling the lake an ocean. We came back last week to his studio this time for a 2 year birthday and Scott didn't miss a beat with my little handful. Don't change a thing Scott! more

Great Portraits 4/17/2008

I have coming to Mason Portraiture for over ten years and they have never let me down. Scott started photographing my first back in 1995 when she was a baby and the shots look better than what most studios are doing today. The props they use are classy and on the antique side, and they don't look dated or cheesy when they get older. My favorite is their scenic scene with their garden gate and swing that kids can actually sit on and use. Some people get confused when you tell them it was taken indoors. Thanks Again Scott! more

What something different? 4/14/2008

I was told to go to Mason Portraiture after having problems with the mall portrait studios. What a breath of fresh air! Scott books people accordingly, one of my children is autistic, there was no wait and no rush. I got to pick out the poses that I wanted and got to arrange my package my way. I could not believe it. It was actually hard to decide, in a good way, of how to divide out my favorite poses. Freedom is a wonderful thing! We are going to have a family reunion and have already scheduled them for our family portrait at the beach this summer. more
