Best

Got new tires for a very reasonable price! Tires can get expensive especially if you're getting all 4. So I shopped around and then came here and they had the best to offer :)

I had a 1997 Blazer and now I have a 2008 Mitsubishi Eclipse and they have done work on both vehicles. They are honest and reliable. The owner and his wife are both there and very nice. The service is quick too.\r more

So, yesterday my window fell into my door. Seriously. I came out from the bank, saw my window was gone, thought momentarily that someone had robbed me, realized the window had somehow moved to the bottom of the door, and immediately called American Auto and Import Repair. Because, of course, who wants to drive around in July in Arizona with no window? They told me to bring it by as soon as I could, and they would fix it. 1 hour later, I had my window back with no damage to the window and little damage to my pocketbook. These guys seem super-honest and do good work. Highly, highly recommended for someone looking for a good mechanic in Gilbert.\r more

I just got an oil change here and their service was super! They checked my tires for me and offered to inflate them so that I get better gas mileage. I also had a cracked windshield wiper and they helped me install a new one, free of charge! These guys are nice and won't try to run up the costs of fixing your car.\r more

It's always a pleasure to walk in to an auto repair shop, and feel welcome. Today I brought my 2005 Chevy Equinox in because the A/C compressor died. From the moment I walked in the door, I was met with a handshake, and a barking dog. I will be bringing the car back Wednesday for repair, and will highly recommend that if anybody wants to avoid the BS, and upsale tactics that most other shops seem to use, and get straight up, ""this is what it is"" service. Give American a call. Made me feel like a person, and not an idiot. Thank you, and see you first thing Wednesday\r more

OK, Once again these guys go above and beyond. By no fault of theirs, the A/C compressor took a dump. They got it in in one day, and took less than 2 hours to replace it. That's awesome, especially when it's record heat. Next job's brakes. I can't thank you all enough. Awesome service!!!\r more

Great repair shop 9/20/2011

The rave reviews are right, American Auto is great! I brought in my car after scouring the internet looking for a trustworthy repair shop. I've been taken advantage of many times and wanted to make sure this time around it wouldn't happen. The guys at American Auto are professional and repaired my car in no time at a very affordable price. Can't beat that! more

Fairly priced 9/13/2011

Brought my car here to get an emissions test and possibly new tires. They have great deals and are very fairly priced. Got my car new ""shoes"" and it passed the emissions test with flying colors. more

Excellent repair shop 9/6/2011

The repairs were finished quickly and they charged me a very fair price, especially for all the extensive work they did for me. They specialize in a lot of high-end brands so I completely trust them with my cars when I bring them in. more
