We just went with our 6, 3 and 1.5 year olds and had a great time. They had a hands on dinosaur exhibit, an exhibit with local wildlife (crabs, etc.) including some live crabs and fish, and the kids room on the 3rd floor is worth the trip alone. It's got something for everyone (it says 6 and under on the door) and the parents can relax a bit while the kids play. They even have a baby area with a comfy chair for the parents with parenting magazines and a nursing chair with a boppy for parents. My only complaint was that it was not obvious to find the upstairs exhibits. Oh, and the gift shop doesn't have much MSC themed items, mostly space and dinosaur themed toys that you can probably get other places. more

Marlyand Science Center 8/20/2005

I love going to the Maryland Science Center. There are about six permanent exhibits and many other temporary exhibits. My favorite exhibit is probably the Dinosaur exhibit. The Science Center has an IMAX theater and a planetarium. There is even a room made especially for very young kids. It's such a fun place to go and learn about science. more

Get Up Close and Personal With Science 8/20/2005

You will really enjoy your self at the Science Center. There is so much to see and do. There are plenty of exhibits. We especially like the one called Your Body. Not only is this fun but you will learn thing too. There is something there for everyone one. And for really young kids, they can learn in The Kids Room Area. Be prepared to stay awhile because your visit will not be complete if you don't check out the IMAX Theatre. Enjoy more

Fun for all ages 8/19/2005

The Baltimore Science Centre is not just a museum for kids. It has educational and entertaining exhibits for people of all ages (that includes teens!). The science center has a plethora of fun and hands-on exhibits from educational displays about electric eels to theroies on gravity. This museum has a wide array of activities, the least of which being the amazing IMAX theater found within the science center. Make sure to check out a show while your there! more

Perfect for everyage. 8/19/2005

This science centre is suitable for any age group. Starting from kids till the oldies. They have experiments , human body, electricity experiments which help the child to learn. Also, they have IMAX threater which shows the a documentary about some history. Like we attended titanic and Forces of nature where they explained about earth quake and so on.... Really worth to go and visit. more
