This place is cool! It's out in the middle of nowhere, sitting on a treeless, windswept bluff overlooking the Columbia River. Sam Hill built the mansion in the early 1900's hoping his family would live there with him. His wife took one look and said "No Way" So over the years, it was turned into a fascinating and eccentric museum. It features among many others, an extensive collection of works by Rodin, a full-size replica of Stonehenge, and the first paved road in the Pacific Northwest. If you're in the area, don't miss it.
