this is the dentist you want to see if you have plenty of money, because if you dont do not bother going here for care, even if your whole family has seen dr marye for over a decade. he does not want patients who make twenty-five dollar payments on a three hundred dollar balance, no matter that they are disabled and unable to work, because as he said ""that is what will run his business into the ground and then how will he be able to help anyone"" so if you cant pay the full amount at one time dont go there, they dont want your business, you could be responsible for running his business into the ground and deprive the world of a dentist. ps my whole family has decided not to see him anymore based on what he did to me. more

I have always dreaded a trip to the dentist,,, until now.\r \r Dr. Marye is intellegent, compassionate, and down to earth. Professionalism and service orientated were adjectives made just for him.\r \r He will never sell you on procedures you do not need, His work is better than I have ever experienced.\r \r His hygienist, Cathy, the front staff are all top notch!\r \r I also will follow his practice until he chooses to retire in about 20 y-25yrs, I imagine. I first went to Dr. Marye because a filling that another dentist had put in fell out. Not only did Dr. Marye fix my problem, but he diagnosed an abscess under another cavity that hadn't even started hurting. He is simply a top flight dentist that has now taken care of me and my family for the past 5 years. He is compassionate and a true professional. He even takes care of several Dallas Maverick players!! I am definitely an MFFL (Marye Fan For Life). more

I have been a patient of Dr. Marye's for 7 years now. He started in Denton with another older, established dentist and I followed him to his new office in Bartonville when he moved about 5 years ago. I followed him because I have had several dentists in my lifetime and never had one as good as Dr. Marye. He really does care about his patients' overall well-being and health. Unfortunately for me, I have had a lot of dental problems in my lifetime and Dr. Marye handles every one of them with the utmost care and knowledge. He is, in my opinion, a true professional. I have seen other dentists that wanted to ""sell"" me on a total reconstruction with a high price tag attached to the procedures recommended. I just happened to hear about Dr. Marye from a friend and decided to go for a second opinion. He looked at my mouth, my dental history and came up with a treatment plan that I could better afford and the results have been amazing! My life has improved as a result of his excellent work and caring attitude toward me, as his patient. Don't get me wrong, good dental treatment is never cheap,I should know, I have had my share of time in the dental chair, having bad crowns replaced with good crowns. I can definity tell the difference (I almost know my teeth numbers). I will follow Dr. Marye until the day I die! Pros: Best dental injections I have ever had! more

In response to the unhappy post above...\r I too have the priviledge to work for and be a part of the cohesive dental ""team"" at the office of Dr. Robert Marye in Bartonville. I have worked elsewhere, but I have yet to experience the kind of family-friendly caring environment that is found at our office. I am daily impressed by Dr. Marye's insistance of going above and beyond the standard of care for his patients. He treats everyone that comes through the door like family. I cannot imagine that someone could have such a terrible experience, or that a conflict would go unresolved to the point that someone felt like they needed to post such a negative review. \r \r I KNOW that if you have a problem with your service or the way you are treated that someone in our office would be more than happy to help you iron out the issues that are bugging you. We pride ouselves in making sure our patients are comfortable and happy and are saddened that it did not work out the way you had hoped. \r more

I?ve been dentistry for 20 years now. I had the privilege for my first dentist to be one of the most compassionate, honest, and best people anyone could work for. I knew from then on I would only work for someone whom had the same qualities and work ethics. As I worked my way through family and school, I finally became a Registered Dental Hygienist. During that time I had the privilege to meet Dr. Robert Marye as my professor, ?A teacher at heart?. After getting to know him I was interested in observing his work and office to see if this would be someone that I could share the same work ethics and patient care. I spent time watching and assisting him before ever deciding that this was absolutely the perfect office for me. I work in his Bartonville office which is an area perfect to raise a family, and that is where he wanted to start his family practice. Not only is he compassionate, honest, and very knowledgeable. He was also thought so highly of that he has had the opportunity to have a part-time practice in Dallas and see many on the Dallas Mavericks and their family. When I came across such a bad report regarding Dr. Marye I had to address this matter that affects not only our office but myself personally. I can?t imagine anyone having such a bad experience with our office. I sadden by your disapproval, but I?m sure if you addressed your concerns with the doctor something could have been resolved. \r I'm not the type to complain especially to a professional that should know his specialty and skills, better than i, i try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt. Sometimes to the point of detriment. I imagine there may be many, many Former Patients and Future Former Patients that are/will be out thousands of dollars and probably not be so shy or fearful about speaking up.\r There are many really great and honest dentists in the dallas area, I recommend picking one by asking friends or people you meet with great smiles who their dentist is, how long, and do they trust him.\r And learn as much as you can about proposed treatment plans, much as you would before a major surgery. Because even minor dental adjustments can end up taking over your life if unneeded or done wrong. Pros: Most appointment times and days are open Cons: There are good dentists in the area more
