The Mary Lane Center, LLC was founded in 2007 by the Jones Family whose family members have been working in the social and health services industry for over 20 years. Our goal is to provide safe, reliable daytime programming for the frail elderly and chronically disabled older adult. The Mary Lane Center is a private for-profit organization developed to meet the increasing needs of the growing elderly population in our community. Because many of our own family members were struck with the early onset of Alzheimer?s disease and had inadequate services and not able to afford the cost to provide care for them, we took this opportunity to create a business that offered affordable, better care to the aging and disabled which is now called The Mary Lane Center, which is named after our deceased mother, Mary.
Mission Statement
The Mary Lane Center, LLC is committed to helping the frail elderly or the chronically disabled older adult, who is homebound or in need of supervision, to continue living independently or with family by providing socialization and supervision in a welcoming, structured and supportive environment and a break to their family caregivers. It is to promote the individual?s maximum level of independence. To maintain the individual?s present level of functioning as long as possible, preventing or delaying further deterioration. To restore or rehabilitate the individual to his/her highest level of functioning. To provide support, respite, and education for families and other caregivers. To foster socialization and peer interaction. To serve as an integral part of the community service network and the long-term care continuum.
