Best Szechaun 3/16/2006

That saun-la-chow-chow is one of the signature dishes from this restaurant.Other favorites include bean curd chicken velvet, dun duns, no chicken and the hot stuffed egg plant. Excellent for take out or delivery- not so much to eat there in the restaurant. Don't let the cheap decor fool you: All the effort and expense is spent on the food and you can taste it. Service is fast and friendly. Excellent spiciness! more

decent chinese 10/13/2005

Mary Chung’s is your typical Americanized Chinese restaurant. Great for delivery to hungry area college students, that’s for sure! The food is not all that authentic, but tasty enough. Try the garlic bean curd with broccoli. They’re not open on some strange day of the week (Monday or Tuesday?) so call ahead to make sure they’re open! more

Good, pretty cheap, but spicy 8/20/2005

Cambridge has a lot of Chinese food. Mary Chung's stands out for being close to MIT, for having a tasteful interior, and because I think I actually met Mary Chung one time. Well, she seemed a whole lot like Mary Chung anyway. See, we'd mentioned to our server that the food we got was *really* spicy! and a woman came out and gave us a new, less-spicy version of the same dishes. And if it wasn't Mary Chung, it was certainly somebody nice and accommodating, which is great in Boston. Once it wasn't burning our palates, the food was excellent. I'll definitely go again. more

Chinese thoughts 8/12/2005

Food here is ok. I've had better. Restuarant is clean and decently maintained. Food arrived hot, and looked ok. I have a problem with the color of the some of the sauces, colors are a lot different than I'm used to eating. I thought I would try this out as a joke, since I actually have a friend that has the same name as this place. I guess I won't be bringing her here to eat. more
