I had a great experience with Mary Bolger recently during my job search. She had useful suggestions and she helped me sort out my strengths and weaknesses. She was attentive to my concerns and had excellent listening and probing skills. Within one week she had two interviews set up for me and after the interviews, Mary responded in a timely manner. I had heard of Mary Bolger Personnel for years and I found that she deserves her excellent reputation. more

I wish there would be -3stars for her. What a snob! She is more interested in driving her convertible slowly around Greenwich than helping people. She never remembers who you are. You can send your updated resume and will always receive an email ""come meet with Mary"" when you already met her. She will never call you for a job, she only cares for Greenwich people and making money. A horrible recruiter, does not even use computers to keep track of her candidates. Stay away from her! more

Mary Bolger loves the rich and judges those she interviews based on whether they look ""Greenwich"" or not. She will act like your best friend and then you'll never hear from her again. I've heard this complaint from many. She's judges not on your skill but whether you dress like the Greenwich crowd. (And she is not the one to judge.) She's not out there to help you. Believe me. These ""pro"" comments are from other recruiters that work with her ... not the ones who are desperately searching for a job to take care of their families. Cons: She's a snob. more

I have been an executive recruiter for over 15 years and have come across many in my field who are far below par. Such is not the case with Mary Bolger. Mary's integrity and professionalism are unmatched. She consistently provides her clients with outstanding service and offers her candidates top notch jobs. Mary takes the time to build strong relationships with both her candidates and clients. She knows them well and has worked with many for years. Mary takes the time to find the perfect people. She does not simply go online to the big job boards to find a candidate , have a quick conversation with them and present their resume. She is methodical, she is professional, she's personal. In reality in this market Mary is THE only staffing professional many clients use and her candidates maintain relationships with her for years. I am proud to call Mary a colleague and a friend. Being that I grew up in CT and have worked in the Corporate world of Executive Search, hands down that Mary has the best jobs around and corporations love her! She is the go to of the highest paying jobs around. I think the problem is that some of us arent qualified for these positions, and in turn get discouraged and deflect that on her.
