My wife and I decided to upgrade our bicycles. With that said, we went to Martins. We decided on two Bicycles and mentioned that we had three bicycles to trade in. The sales person looked over our bikes and offered to give us $75.00 for the three if them. I balked at the value and he added another $25.00. Not knowing any better I accepted his offer.. A week or two later I returned to purchase another bike however this time I thought perhaps I would look at the used bikes. There and behold sat the to bikes I traded in....one was priced at $169.00 and the other $269.00 dollars!!! Talk about a profit or in this case a RIP OFF! Needless to say, do your home work before trading in your old bikes. You obviously cannot rely on these folks to provide a fair value for your old bikes. I'm sure other accessories/services are marked up as well ...ugh!!!
