I know there are good mechanics out there, but Jerry and his staff are the best. Face it, we are all pretty much open to any repair that someone says we need. I have had the experience of mechanics telling me needed lots of work done, to find out I did not. Martin's Auto Clinic crew will not do that. They are honest and want your return business. This is the type of car repair business that I feel comfortable with telling, ""do what you need to do"" more

This place is wonderful, they charged me half of what other shops were quoting, they got my truck right in and did a wonderful job. I asked them to go through the entire truck and see if there was anything else we needed to do, they were very honest and sent me home with a small list of stuff that they said I could do myself. I will definitely be going back. more

Recently, my tire blew out on my car as I driving along 219th St in Battle Ground, WA. I heard a funny noise, a thumping noise, and pulled off to the side of the road. When I got around the car to check it out, sure enough, the tire needed to be changed. It was dark outside, after dusk, and even though the shoulder was wide, I would have had to stand in the ditch on a busy main strip of Battle Ground at night, and as a young women on my own, I wasn't comfortable with that. Fortunately, Martin's Auto Clinic was less a block up the road, had it's lights on, and the parking lot of partially clear so I pulled in. I tried to use my cell phone, to call my husband, it died. Fortunately, an older man and his son pulled in and let me call, but all I got was voice mail. The older man and the son left after I handed the phone back so I was left to change the tire by myself. As I was pulling out the parts from the back of the car I noticed that there were three guys standing in the window of Martin's Auto Clinic staring at me. I went to pull on the door and get their attention but NO ONE EVER CAME OUT! I had to change the tire by myself, in the dark, and it was raining. It took 45 minutes and the whole time, the three guys held a conversation inside the building, while intermittently watching me work outside. Despite taking several breaks, no one every offered any assistance, even to use a phone to call a tow truck. Eventually, I got the tire changed, but their rudeness at this car repair shop has soured my opinion of their shop. I WILL NEVER give them a try. If these guys can't be bothered to come to the aid (or even tell me get off their property) of a young women changing a tire in the dark and the rain, then they are not worth my time in the future, EVER! more

I have had a couple of my cars repaired here and they have always been very honest, reliable and have done the repairs exactly as needed. For example, my truck blew a hole in the exhaust and they welded it for me very inexpensively saving me a lot of money. Another time I thought I needed the wiper motor replaced and instead they tightened it free of charge. They have also changed out my headlights at no charge. I love these guys, they get my business very time! more

I've been to Martins five or six times. They have always done an exellent job and at a lower price than most places. For example I was quoted $740 to change the timing belt and water pump on my SUV and Martins price is $505. I had an alternator replaced there and it went bad. It had a lifetime warrenty on it. They replaced it at no cost to me, not even labor. I am not a expert mechanic, but I know how to work on cars and I know what it's like to not know wether or not a mechanic is going to screw you or not. I don't like to do my own work and I have had a very good experience at Martins. Maby grizzlyandgirl should shut up and ask for help next time before smearing the name of a good business. It sounds like she was too cheap to want to pay for help so she just waited for a free hand. more

As a single woman, I appreciated finding a mechanic that I could trust to take care of my vehicles. I am married now and we still take our cars to Martin's.
