I found Martino by accident a few years ago. I am a VERY neurotic person when it comes to my hair and having someone new cut my hair after using the same person for 15 yrs was scary for me. Not only did i love how he cut my hair..he was one of the nicest people i have ever met!!! The salon is spotless...the people are super friendly and i now get the best haircuts i have ever had in my entire life!!! This is definitely the place to be if you want great hair!!!! more

Just let me say THANK GOD I decided to do a search online for my stylst Donnie Martelette! I called to make an appointment with him at DNA Salon and they rudely told me that he no longer worked there and they did not know his whereabouts! Hallelujah!!!! I found Donnie at Giovanni and Pileggi in NJ and my hair looks better than ever. Donnie has become more fabulous than ever! I'm not sure if it's the better environment, the better high quality products, or the comfortable atmosphere; but I have never been more PLEASED in my life. From the minute you enter you will be greeted and made to feel wanted by the front desk, then the assistants will offer you coffee or water and take you where you need to go. I recently started to get my eyebrows shaped by Nikki, the new waxer at giovannis. I walked in her room very skeptical, she looked like a baby. She sat me down and showed me what was wrong with my brows. Went through some rules with me to get the beautiful brows i always wanted. its only been 4 weeks now, 2 visits, and they're already coming out great. Ive never had someone so gentle and actually give a damn. If you want those thick arched eyebrows you always see in magazines, MAKE AN APPOINTMENT NOW!! Pros: Very Gentle! Cons: None! more

i went on the advice of a co-worker .... to see christopher harrison at giovanni and pileggi, 17th and walnut ..... i am in love with him and his work .... he made me feel amazingly beautiful .... probably the most friendly person in there .... i have never had so many people comment on how great my hair looks .... i thank him and am now going to be a loyal customer of chris' .... he changed me from dull to brilliant .... my roots were gone and i've never had a better head of highlights .... thank you christopher, thank you ! see you soon Pros: great cut, color, and highlights Cons: some of the reception is a bit rude, but ignore them because christopher is worth it! more

I have been to many different salons in philly and jersey, and this one is by far top. I recommend Erica H. for any coloring. SHe got my color perfect on 3 seperate occasions. Most colorist i have been too the color always changed. Erice also does hair extensions. She takes the time to listen and go into detail about your color process and pick what is good for you, not just what you think is good fo you. more
