Peter Martin is great. I've been seeing him off and on for a variety of problems over the last 15 years. Here's a recent example: I fell off a ladder while transitioning to the roof of my house. It was a 10 foot drop to my wooden deck. I was bruised, scraped and battered but the worst damage was to my wrist. I immediately went to the emergency room and found out it was badly sprained. Prognosis: long, slow recovery. From emergency, I drove straight to Peter Martin's office. He worked his magic needles. Within 3 days my wrist was completely healed. He's that good. Dr. Peter Martin of Balancemedicine has a impressive resume and is obviously very experienced. However, that is not what brought me to him in the first place or what keeps me going back for continued treatments. Where over a year of MD visits and various prescription meds have left me with the same health issue, Dr. Martin has drastically alleviated me of the problem within just a few weeks of seeing him. I don't know anything about the art of acupuncture or massage. I just know that Dr. Martin's deft and skillful touch has made a large impact in my health. He is very caring and shows genuine concern. He also does an excellent job of educating on health issues without seeming pedantic. An added bonus of the treatments is the relaxing effect that lasts for the rest of the day. I always look forward to the treatments and the majority of the cost is covered by my health insurance. -J.
