This is a nice little place to stop into. I think their rates a slightly high on some things but overall they are pretty reasonable. They have a nice variety of equipment, and the atmosphere is good. It's actually kinda fun just to go in and look around even if your not buying anything. more

friendly employes always willing to lend there knowledge and or opinion and help you any which way they can. although there insterment selection isnt too large its still a great place to play if you are just begging. more

Great for beginners and 5th grade band students. 6/1/2005

I remember coming here when I was 8 years old with my father and buying a flute so I could take private flute lessons. An eight year old boy taking flute lessons might seem a little, uhh... weird, but whatever. I was inspired by my grammy. =) Well, my flute playing aspirations didn't last long and I moved onto other instruments. Now, 12 years later, I finally returned to this business that I had fond memories of as a child. It wasn't quite as 'magical' as I had remembered, but it's still nice nevertheless. They seem to focus primarily on beginner instruments. It's definitely worth patroning. more

Fills the local music niche. 5/30/2005

Martin Music is small. Its inventory is thin and has no high-end items. That said, its employees are largely knowledgeable and they fill a niche in the community. It's a place a kid can get his first guitar, a novice can pick up an instrument, or someone with a bit more expertise can buy a pack of strings or some guitar picks. more

  • We are now at our new store at 1640 N 21st street! Its only a mile and a half up the road! Come see our HUGE showroom and new teaching studios being constructed.
