My family has been with Karate Masters for over 4 years. If you want more than just a karate class this program and place are for you! The introductory program is an excellent way to see if it is something you are intrested in. After that you can take classes up to 3 times a week. Pros: Complete program, family friendly, excellent instructors more

An Awesome Karate Studio 5/27/2010

My four year old has been a student of Karate Masters for almost two years now. My son has had some behavioral issues and one of my friends recommend I check out this school. It has been one of the best things I have ever done for him. Master Sharpe and Mrs. Sharpe are great at what they do and are always willing to work with the students and parents when issues arise. One of my favorite things is to see my son beaming with a sense of accomplishment when he receives a new belt or does a good job in class. I would recommend Karate Masters to anyone interested in learning martial arts. more

Terrible in every way 5/23/2010

This is not a serious place to study martial arts. If you want your kid to get a belt, then this is for you. Otherwise, find another place. Just look at the fitness level of the husband (and wife OMG!) who run this place, and you'll know what I mean. And whatever you do, do not sign a year contract. If your kid loses interest, the owners will do nothing to help you, their attack dogs at Educational Funding will pursue you relentlessly and even when you have paid up with them, they will send you into a collections agency. Lot's of luck with these folks. Cons: see below more

Satisfying Personal Achievement 12/19/2006

I am 18 years old and in college, most of my time is spent being lazy and just not doing much of anything. I trained here for 7 years and it allowed me to be more active than I normally am, which is always good. Exercise is healthy and my training has also done an overhall on my self discipline. Karate Masters does not just provide a service of karate lessons it creates an atmosphere that allows anyone with an open mind develop friendships and become part of a family. I was able to recieve my black belt here and it provides a very satisfying sense of personal achievement, but not just because it took a long time to get or because of its rank. When I ask my friends (who recieved black belts other places) how many friends they made, how much fun they had, or what they learned from their experience, not many of them can come up with a positive answer. In the end they have a black strip of material, but at Karate Masters I was able to recieve much more than that. Whatever your goal in taking martial arts (self defense, physical workout, discipline) I know you will be able to accomplish it at Karate Masters. I truely recommend it to anyone and their family. Pros: good for all ages Cons: you still have to go to school and it does NOT give you an excuse to beat anyone up... lol more

Family Oriented 12/9/2006

Karate Masters is the best family oriented place around! They focus on every member of your family, treat you like their family and even though we are no longer members, we still are family! My children developed discipline, self esteem and respect not just for others but for themselves. You are neither too young or too old to start! Master Sharpe and Mrs. Sharpe have surpassed our expectations and have given us a lifetime committment of friendship along with all the other members of Karate Masters--truly professional and awesome knowledge that you will apply to the rest of your life! more

Dedicated Staff and an Awesome School and Good Customer Service and Awesome Owners 12/9/2006

My oldest daughter has been attending Karate Masters for several years now. I was so impressed that my youngest daughter has started attending. Master and Mrs. Sharpe are wonderful teachers, people, and friends. They take the time to assist the children and the parents in a time of need. Both are very professional and treat everyone like family. My girls have changed for the better...good grades, self-confidence, positive attitude, and so on. Their staff of black belts are the BOMB and funny. No pressure selling or taking tests. I would recommend Karate Masters to anyone and everyone. Karate Masters has not let me or my girls down. The students work hard but they have fun as well. The best decision I made was having my girls attend Karate Masters! Pros: Thumbs UP! more

Knowledgeable staff, family oriented, highly motivating 12/8/2006

Since I enrolled my eleven year daughter 6 months ago I have seen a great increase in her self-confidence, maturity, and self-control. From the moment I walked in the doors Mr. Sharpe and Mrs. Sharpe welcomed us in and are always there to answers any questions, even when I ask them more than once. They are never to busy to talk to the parents. I love the relaxed atmosphere and any child feels welcomed and willing to learn this awesome Martial Art. more

Top Rated Martial Arts School 12/8/2006

Our eight year old grandson has attended the Karate Masters School for the past year. Master Sharpe, and his staff of dedicated black belt instructors are among the most energetic, compasionate and dedicated individuals in their instructional approach to the art of Tong Soo Do. The youngsters, both boys and girls, from the early age of three, have an opportunity to learn dicipline, confidence, responsibility, commitment and most of all, respect for themselves as well as others. Daily classes are scheduled for the very young beginners up to adulthood. Pros: Professionalism and highly motivated instructors. more

Best Instructor ever!!! 12/7/2006

I have been training almost my entire life in Martial Arts and met different instructors all around the world. But I wanted to acknowledge the fact that Master Sharpe, the owner and founder of Karate Masters, is the best martial Martial Arts instructor I ever met. He is a truly a talented Martial Arts instructor with a big heart. I wish I live closer so that I can have an opportunity to train with him. more

Great teachers, family oriented, awesome staff 12/7/2006

I have been taking classes from the instructor at Karate Masters for about 14 years now and I can honestly say that I enjoy the close family style atmosphere and the camaraderie among the students. Each instructor there has there own specialty field and is well rounded in each category of Tang Soo Do. The children in the studio highly enjoy the fun, high paced classes that are offered there. Each class, no matter what age group, has something fun and interesting to learn. Pros: lots of parking, great staff, lots of fun more

The best program for adults and children of all ages. 12/7/2006

I have been involved in the Martial Arts for the last 39 years, both as an instructor and a student. I enrolled my 5th grade daughter in Karate Masters Inc. I brought my daughter to every class and observed the training. In my opinion the training is the most professional program I have ever seen. Pros: Great Facility, amble parking, easy location. Cons: None noted more

Truly dedicated to the success of their students. 12/7/2006

To fully appreciate what an awesome program Karate Masters has to offer, talk to any of their younger black belt students. Products of the five year plus program, they are the most confident, kind and respectful young men and women you?ll ever meet. They are academic achievers, school and community leaders, and magnanimous role models both inside and outside of the studio. We are truly devoted to Karate Masters chief instructor, and extremely grateful that our family can be part of a program that produces such incredible results.
