This is one of the worst nursing home facilities. they are very neglectful towards all of there patients. every floor the patients are on smell of bad feces. the CNA's are rude and treat the residents with disrespect!! I cant believe they are even open still. they have a lot of citations. they had rats inside there kitchen that's why they had to update. They have leaking ceilings. every floor is disgusting. I feel so bad for all the patients it breaks my heart!!! I have a heart for the elderly and seeing the neglect is heart wrenching. more

Excellent Care 9/5/2011

Good: My brother was a resident there, and everytime I went to see him, I could see he was receiving excellent care. He was always spotless, and his bed was always clean. I live out of town, so it's not like they knew I was coming so they'd have him ready. Sadly, he passed away 8-3-11, but I'll never forget those wonderful ladies that treated him with care and dignity.. Bad: Liked everything.. Improvements: None that I can think of.. Other: I would highly recommend this facility for those needing care.. more

Very satisfied with care given 12/19/2010

My son has been a live in patient here coming from other care centers. This is definitely above all others and staff is friendly and caring. I live out of state yet am comfortable knowing he is at MTB and getting quality care. It is clean, food is better than most, and the staff looks out for the patient. more

Great help for those with little or no insurance. 4/15/2006

Located right off Groesbeck highway and Elizabeth Street is the Martha T Berry Medical Care Facility which is an asset to those less fortunate and who do not have the means for medical assistance. They have a lot of programs such as pregnancy tests; prenatel care and pediatricians. I think it is wonderful that the state has this service especially during an economic crunch. I am grateful everyday that I have a good job with great insurance and I do believe that help should be there for those who are having a difficult time. Theres a victims rights unit; mental health unit; substance abuse unit and senior citizen services. more
