I hate to be the girl to write a bad review. I never like putting negative words out into the universe-- especially for a Mom and Pop business. But I must say, my last couple of experiences with Marshall Granger Jewelers has been overwhelmingly disappointing. I've been going to them with my business for 3 years now. And this will be the end. They've got a 50% success rate at getting your items right. Last year, I purchased a really cool flask for my dad and took it to them to get engraved with his favorite quote. I picked it up a couple days before Christmas and they freaking spelled a word wrong. So I had to give my dad an empty box with the PICTURE of what it would be until they sent me the new one. THEN, this Christmas, I surprised my mom with repairing an antique ring for her. When I took it in, they were gonna replace the missing jewel along with the prongs. I picked it up, gave it to my mom for Christmas and 2 days later the jewel fell out. (No big deal, accidents happen). So I took it back. Told Tom and another lady, and they basically blamed me, the customer. Said I would have to pay another $150 because "they didn't realize I wanted to replace the prongs". They blew it off and, all but said, it was my fault. PLEASE TELL ME WHY I WOULD PAY TO HAVE A STONE REPLACED AND NOT THE PRONGS?! I could not BELIEVE the audacity of these people to point fingers at ME when it's their LACKLUSTER craftsmanship. NEVER again. I was so furious and disappointed at the service that I don't even know where to begin. And I will be SURE to tell anyone who asks me in the NKY for a jeweler NOT to go here. Word of mouth goes a long way.
