Hotel and Theatre 6/22/2006

Hey they spell it with an re at the end. Better not let the humorist Dave Barry find out about that. He loves to have fun with linquistics. He says people that own shoppes should be arrested. Anyway the theatre itself is very cool and is designed "in the round" style. The hotel and it's grounds are beautiful and are a much appreciated getaway or retreat especially for being off of Milw. Ave. The prices are not cheap by any means for tix. but worth it because of the experience and the hotel. more

We took my mom here for her 80th birthday and we had a wonderful experience. The Marriott Resort is gorgeous and the facility itself has nice restaurants, attractive rooms and cute shops. But the Theatre itself stands out because it's an intimate setting, with good sound and there's not a bad seat in the house. They have some top notch shows pass through these doors, including Broadway hits and classic musicals. The people who work here are friendly and helpful. Make sure and get the dinner/theater packages they offer. It's a fun time for people of all ages. more

Excellent performance! Top notch actors! 7/31/2005

We saw "Something odd happened on the way to the Forum" here, a play set in Greece where a comedy of errors ensues, as a young man tries to hook up with a girl from a house of ill repute, a virgin who has been sold to a captain. The acting was really fabulous, and the theater in the round is neat because the actors play to many people at once and it is more challenging, I'm sure, than acting on a normal stage. Come here for a great experience. more
