Farmington's best kept secret! 1/10/2003

Honestly, the first time I went in I was unimpressed. It seemed like an odd place to go when there are so many hip and trendy places around. I sat at the corner of the odd four beamed rectangular bar. Fate (and business) brought me back and I was pleasantly suprised by the staff. All courteous, customer oriented. Ask for whatever you want they will get it. I have noticed that patience and manners are often rewarded with suprising intellectual conversation. And there are regulars hidden among the travelers. A unique social experience. And how many bars can you name where the bartenders will recommend other places to go in hopes of establishing a long term friendship. Very suprising. Pros: 3 distinct menus, high end liquor, unpredictable Cons: unpredictable, not inexpensive more

Great time!!! 8/18/2002

I went with a few friends after work for happy hour. We ate and drank and had a really good time. A band was starting when we left and they were really good, so a couple of us went home and changed and came back later and had a great time. I wish I new of this place sooner. It is defintly cool, especially for a hotel bar. Pros: Fun yet relaxing, Great music and menu!, Wonderful staff Cons: 10 min. from Hartford, music only fri/sat, Happy hour until 7pm more
