We were returning from Bar Harbor to Boston and made a detour for the wonderful town of Camden. It is a highlight of the Maine coastal region. There were many options for our lunch but we were fortunate to have chosen Marriners. We were also lucky to have a sunny day in July where we scored a table on the back patio. The patio sits over the river running into the harbor. This provides a beautiful and cool spot for a lunch. The iced tea was fresh and unsweetened. The lobster roll was huge and with minimal dressing (just the way I love it!). The service was friendly and fairly quick. My partner had the clam strips and they were amazingly crisp and flavorful. This was a highlight of our day and I would highly recommend eating here. The portions are very healthy and the prices are very reasonable. Go out of your way to visit Camden and if you have the time, eat at Marriners!
