MARKS DRIVING SCHOOL IS THE WORST! DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD TO THESE PEOPLE!! I cannot stress this enough, these are unbalanced and unprofessional people who should not be allowed to torture kids anymore. First off, I get along with everyone, I am a people person, I have never written a bad review for anyone or anything, for them I make exception. I am a former student of theirs... 15 years ago. I still have not gotten over the traumatic experience of both the husband and the wife in how they criticized me for being nervous, perpetuating my anxiety and making personal insults to me for what another instructor called normal. I thought they were way too old to be doing this business back then, they are a cranky and unethically hateful people. \r \r I am not a troll, I am not reckless and mean person I am happy and peaceful, but I feel a sense of social responsibility to inform you these people should forced to stop working with other people.\r \r Finally when the hours of their mean over critical scolding had taken it's toll on my nerves, Mr. Marks had angrily told me to pull over at parking lot. I missed the one he spoke of and went to the lot right next to it, because I was unclear where he was pointing. He shut down the car, buried his face in his hand and said as emphatically as he could, ""Any rational normal human being would have seen where I was pointing. How is it possible you can be this bad?""\r \r I responded defeated, ""I guess I am less than human.""\r \r Marks: ""Well if you are going to feel sorry for yourself, drive home, you are not mature enough for this. You learned nothing.""\r \r we ended early, as I drove us home, he continued to tell me how stupid I am and how I should never drive. (My bad driving was not because of immaturity, it was inexperience and nerves).\r \r Finally I couldn't take it any longer, and I said firmly, ""Sir, I don't need to talk, I just want to go straight home.""\r \r Marks: ""Well good for you! you are a little $#!+ you know that?""\r \r The story got much worse from their, I don't even want to go into it. But it was certainly the most provoked and threatened I have ever been. And he really tried his hardest to humiliate me in front of my mother. \r \r Then I went to another place called A1 driving school (I think). The gentlemen was patient, and I performed well and he acted as if I was a completely normal student, we got along great. He told me confidently I was ready, and I passed my driving competency with flying colors. \r \r I hope he is as unhappy as he seems, and I really hope he retires and goes away deep into the black hole from which he came. more

If I could give less than 1 star, I would. The customer service was despicable. I had called three (plus) times and had been told that I would be called back later. The lady who answered was rude and demanding. After telling her I had chosen another driving school to go through she said, and I quote, ""let me explain something to you that you don't understand."" This was followed by a very condescending conversation telling me why I was in the wrong. Tell me if I am wrong, but is it not important that in the time and day we live in any business transaction in a small community is crucial? I feel as a new driver it is important to learn from someone who is positive and uplifting and from personal experiences and several reviews I have found that Marks driving school displays exactly the opposite. I will not recommend Marks Driving school, if anything I will tell people not to even consider Marks. more

I had high expectations, but they were disappointing from the beginning. The wife told me that her husband would be providing the lesson because he was the more patient one ... so, when the wife showed up at the door, I was a bit concerned. She was right about herself, not patient. She started out criticizing my kid for waiting until our gated community gates fully opened to exit (even though there's a big sign telling people to do that). And then it went downhill from there, criticizing at every turn. Now some of that might be appropriate during a driving lesson. What's not appropriate is the wife taking several phone calls during the 2 hour lesson. I would not recommend Mark's Driving School, especially for nervous drivers. more
